Christmas Sushi

Brief Development.
A sushi bar in Verbier, Switzerland, every Christmas creates different promotional material for their sushi. Last year they had someone create sushi out of lego and photograph that to use it, this year they are looking for vector illustrations. This is something I will be producing for them. I will also be using the illustrations in a Christmas poster and promotional material. Having this as a live brief means that I will be able to get feedback from the client, and will also give me more experience working with different clients, there will be no language barrier as the man who owns Nomad (the sushi bar) speaks excellent English. I think that I may be able to take this brief further and create a calender for the new year 2015 on the sushi that is sold at Nomad, this would promote the bar whilst making people more interested in sushi. This is something I would like to take further with this brief, and will propose to Nomad when I send over the illustrations and poster.

Part 1.
Brief.
Create vector illustrations of Nomad's sushi, they apply them in a Christmas themed poster or other promotional material.
Considerations.
Consider the style of the sushi bar already works with and how it can be consistent whilst being refreshing for them.
Target Audience.
People who like sushi, people who live in Verbier.
Mandatories.
Demonstrate an understanding of the sushi sold, also it must be a seasonal for Christmas. 3-5 design boards.
Deliverables.
Vector illustrations. Promotional Poster (A3).

Part 2.
Brief.
Expand on the initial brief by creating a calender for the new year exhibiting some of the sushi sold at Nomad.
Considerations.
Consider the style of the sushi bar already works with and how it can be consistent whilst being refreshing for them.
Target Audience.
People who like sushi, people who live in Verbier.
